Parking Lot Gold

I sat in my car late at night while my friend, Marquise, explained to me his vision for a fantastic short film.

Quise - as we call him - was looking for some animation to pair with his documentary-style storytelling. I was happy to be a part of it.

How This Happened

Marquise wanted to tell the story of his grandmother, and he wanted a very soft, sort of vintage animated style that could also work as a comic/cell shaded style in the event we needed it to. 3D was out of the picture. While it had been a while, 2D animation was something I used to do quite a lot. I felt this was a good opportunity.
