A Faux Milwaukee Brewing Commercial
Lights Lager wasn’t actually my idea but my co-worker at the time Casey Hoaglund. She created the design and I slapped it on a can.
Then, I created a short commercial that’s really just meant to serve as an example of what can be done for other Milwaukee Breweries and companies.
Inspiration
Typically for projects like this I like to take my time concepting, but in this scenario there wasn’t much time to devote to a fake commercial. I was also rather curious to see how quickly I could put together such a project on short notice. As such, I found a rather nice piece of reference on YouTube. I’m sure most professionals will recognize my shots especially since the reference video is extremely popular. I thought it would be a nice exercise to attempt to re-create the commercial using only 3D rather than doing video work. The result took one a half days and I believe it turned out rather well.
